A provincial most wanted fugitive was arrested during a manhunt operation in Barangay San Isidro, Angono, Rizal on Wednesday afternoon.
Police identified the suspect only as alias Nord, 37, a painter and resident of Barangay San Vicente, Angono.
He was apprehended by authorities by virtue of a warrant of arrest for violation of Section 5 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, issued by a regional trial court branch.
The accused is currently detained at the Angono Municipal Police Station’s custodial facility for proper documentation before his turnover to the issuing court.
