EPSON ColorWorks C8050
As businesses enter the peak of the holiday rush, the demand for faster packaging, custom merchandise, and frequent production adjustments continues to rise. Epson Philippines is positioning its labeling and textile printing solutions as tools to help companies manage increased workloads while improving sustainability and efficiency.
Across industries, year-end operations often require gift bundles, seasonal packaging, and personalized apparel. Epson said its on-site printing technologies enable teams to make rapid updates without delays or reliance on external suppliers.
For labeling requirements, businesses use the Epson ColorWorks C8050, a color label printer built for high-volume operations and a wide variety of materials commonly used in local production. According to Epson, the C8050 allows organizations to prepare labels immediately when needed, including barcodes, product specifications, storage instructions, and seasonal packaging, reducing excess inventory and waste.
For apparel and merchandise production, Epson highlighted the SureColor SC-G6030, the brand’s first DTFilm textile printer. The machine supports continuous operation with features such as white ink circulation, a fabric wiper, and 1.6-liter ink packs to minimize downtime and manual cleaning — an advantage during time-sensitive holiday orders.
Epson said the SC-G6030 is geared toward apparel decorators, print shops, and creator brands producing limited-edition or personalized items, as well as corporations preparing employee or client giveaways. On-site printing enables organizations to avoid long supplier lead times and reduce the carbon footprint associated with outsourced production.
“We understand how demanding the holiday season can be for Filipino businesses,” said Kusama Masako, president and director of Epson Philippines Corporation. “Our goal is to provide tools they can trust — solutions that combine Epson’s heritage of innovation with sustainable practices. When businesses can adjust their labels or merchandise on-site, they respond more quickly and feel confident in their workflow.”
Both the C8050 and SC-G6030 are supported by Epson Cloud Solution PORT, a platform for remote printer status monitoring and maintenance scheduling. Epson said this capability helps teams manage production more efficiently during peak demand.
