More than half a million pesos worth of suspected shabu was seized from a drug pusher tagged as a high-value target in a buy-bust operation in Antipolo City on Tuesday night.
Arrested in the operation was a suspect identified only by the alias “Kuya,” a resident of Barangay San Jose, Antipolo City.
The suspect was apprehended during an operation conducted by the Antipolo Component City Police Station’s drug enforcement team at Sitio Tagbak, Barangay San Jose, at around 8:47 p.m.
Confiscated from the suspect were seven heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately 67 grams and valued at P455,600, along with a black sling bag and P500 in buy-bust money.
The suspect is now detained at the Antipolo Component City Police Station custodial facility and faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
