Award-winning Manila-based photographer Jan Mayo will headline the launch of the vivo X300 Series on 26 November 2025, vivo Philippines announced this week.

Known for his clean, dramatic, and structured visual style across fine art, editorial, and commercial work, Mayo is the first Filipino to win the prestigious GFX Challenge Grant. His exhibits have been featured at the National Museum of Natural History and Intermediatheque in Tokyo.

During the launch, Mayo will lead an exclusive Photography Masterclass demonstrating the vivo X300 Series’ telephoto and imaging capabilities — positioning the device as “the next Telephoto King” after its predecessor. Joining him onstage is model, host and former beauty queen Nicole Cordoves.

The public is invited to watch the official livestream on 26 November at 6 p.m. via the vivo Philippines Facebook page, where Hazel Bascon, vivo Philippines vice president for Sales, will announce pricing and launch promotions for the X300 Series.

The vivo X300 Series introduces upgrades in imaging, performance and user experience. The vivo X300 Pro is equipped with a 200MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera, while the vivo X300 carries a 200MP ZEISS Main Camera — both engineered to deliver exceptional detail even at long range. On the Pro model, the new Pro Imaging Chip VS1 preprocesses RAW data for enhanced portrait and overall image quality, working seamlessly with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 platform for efficient power and performance. Battery life also marks a major improvement, with the X300 powered by a 6040 mAh BlueVolt battery and the X300 Pro featuring a 6510 mAh BlueVolt battery, both supporting 90W FlashCharge and 40W Wireless FlashCharge. Rounding out the upgrades is the debut of the refreshed OriginOS 6, which introduces a cleaner design, smoother navigation and optimized creative workflows.

vivo said the X300 Series was created to “empower creators, storytellers, and everyday users who want to capture life from any distance in incredible detail.”
