Holiday season alive in cebu

The holiday season in Cebu came alive as Seda Central Bloc and Seda Ayala Center held their annual tree lighting ceremonies, each bringing its own festive charm to Cebu’s two bustling districts.

Both properties, known for their contemporary elegance and heartfelt hospitality, transformed their lobbies into festive sanctuaries, welcoming guests, partners and the community to witness the magical start of the season.

At Seda Central Bloc guests gathered around a modern elegantly adorned Christmas tree that captured the vibrant energy of Cebu It Park. As the lights illuminated the towering centerpiece, a live choral filled the lobby with uplifting carols.

Hotel leaders led by general manager Ron Manalang shared words of gratitude, highlighting the importance of community and unity after another year of growth, challenges and achievements.

Guests were treated to signature bites and holiday treats prior to a sit-down dinner that showcased the hotels specialties.

The ceremony also highlighted Seda’s corporate social responsibility initiatives, which include outreach program at Becceril Elementary School in Boljoon.

Over at Seda Ayala Center Cebu, tradition and timeless charm took center stage. The lobby glowed with classic holiday colors and twinkling accents as families, friends and loyal guests joined the countdown to the tree lighting.

Executives led by general manager Gwen de la Cruz, head of Marketing and Commercial for AyalaLand Hospitality Rosh Nandwani expressed appreciation for the continued support of the Cebuanos, underscoring Seda’s role as a comforting home in the heart of the city.

This year’s celebration was made even more meaningful through their partnership with Smile Train Philippines that supports individuals with cleft conditions and Gasa sa Gugma, a home for the aged.

Across both locations the ceremonies represented more than the switching on of lights, they symbolized hope, unity and the enduring joy of the holidays.

Seda once again affirmed its commitment to creating memorable experiences that celebrate not just the season, but the people who bring life to their spaces all year round.
