Collectors, enthusiasts, and curious visitors converged at The Westin Manila in Ortigas for Minted Manila’s two-day year-end show—a vibrant gathering where history, culture, and craftsmanship come alive through coins, banknotes, tokens, fashion, and memorabilia. More than a marketplace, the event is a celebration of stories preserved in tangible form.
Inside the Sonata Ballroom, rows of displays featured rare paper bills, vintage coins, commemorative medals, and historical artifacts, each marked not just by monetary value, but by decades—sometimes centuries—of legacy.
From relics of the Spanish colonial period to quirky 1980s memorabilia and even contemporary collectors’ releases, every item reflects a moment in time, a glimpse of heritage, and a narrative waiting to be discovered.
What makes this event special is its spirit of connection: between past and present, design and history, and collectors and the public. Each showcased piece is more than a collectible—it becomes a conversation starter, a piece of education, and for some, a deeply personal connection.
Adding a modern flair to the historical showcase, fashion students from the SoFA Design Institute debuted their Modern Filipiniana collections, blending traditional influences with contemporary silhouettes. Each garment reflected the designer’s interpretation of national identity—reinvented, youthful, and proudly Filipino.
Collectors also had the opportunity to secure the future of their prized items through the Manila Submission Center, offering onsite grading and certification services for coins, paper money, tokens, medals, and selected collectibles via PCGS Asia, NGC, PMG, and CGC—ensuring authenticity, preservation, and long-term value.
