University of Batangas (UB) and Immaculada Concepcion College (ICC) flaunted their might once again and advanced to the finals for the second straight year in the PG Flex-Universities and Colleges Athletic League Season 8 Volleyball Tournament on Friday at the Paco Arena in Manila.

The Brahmans banked heavily on their one-two punch in Aldrin Rosales and Prince Ramirez to outlast Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas, 25-15, 18-25, 25-19, 25-21, in their knockout semis duel and extend their amazing winning run to eight games in the men’s division.

Overall, it was the 20thth straight win for the Brahmans since their mighty sweep of the title last year.

Rosales fired 14 points and Ramirez added 10 as the top-seeded Brahmans arranged a title rematch — a best-of- three series — with the Blue Hawks starting on Tuesday.

The Blue Hawks, on the other hand, drew 19 points from Aaron Devosoro19 to complete a dramatic 25-22, 19-25, 23-25, 26-16, 15-11 win over the Philippine Christian University-Dasmariñas Dolphins in a game highlighted by exciting rallies and booming spikes from both sides.
