Starting Monday, 17 November, regular and casual employees of the Mandaluyong City government can now receive their 13th month pay, Mayor Menchie Abalos announced.
In addition, the city government also distributed cash incentives to job order and service contractual workers.
Abalos said the early release of the benefits was made possible by the proper and excellent performance of the city’s income-generating offices.
She added that the initiative also complies with the national government’s directive to release benefits early as a gesture of appreciation for the service and heroism of civil servants and government workers.
