Police arrested four men after they were caught gambling in Barangay San Juan, authorities said on Saturday.
The suspects were identified only as “Jandi,” 45; “Darryl,” 34; “Jeff,” 32; and “Owen,” 42.
Recovered from them were 55 grams of suspected illegal drugs worth P374,000, bet money amounting to P1,400, and two dice used as gambling paraphernalia.
Charges for violating Presidential Decree 1602, or the Anti-Illegal Gambling Law, and Republic Act 9165 will be filed against the suspects.
