Samsung has opened the 2025 Odyssey Cup Counter-Strike 2 Championship, bringing together esports teams across Southeast Asia and Oceania. The tournament builds on earlier editions held in 2023 and 2024.

National qualifiers will run from 31 October to 23 November in eight markets, including the Philippines, with winners advancing to the regional stage. Finalists will compete in Kuala Lumpur from 12 to 14 December for the championship title and a US$50,000 prize pool.

Matches will be played on Samsung’s Odyssey OLED G60SF gaming monitor, which features a 0.03ms response time, high refresh rate, and QD-OLED display.

Samsung Southeast Asia and Oceania executive Leslie Goh said the event is meant to strengthen gaming communities in the region. TCP Red Bull Malaysia returns as a partner.

Games will be streamed on Samsung’s official channels, with finalists flown to Kuala Lumpur for the grand event. Registration is open at odyssey-cup.com.
