EcoFlow has introduced the PowerOcean Single-phase home battery system in the Philippines, marking the company’s entry into Southeast Asia’s residential energy storage market. The launch comes as more households seek backup power and relief from high electricity rates and frequent outages, particularly in remote and island communities.
The system pairs solar panels with a battery unit designed to store and manage household power. Its inverter supports up to 12 kW PV input and allows 95 percent depth of discharge, while an AI-driven time-of-use scheduler determines the most cost-efficient periods to charge, discharge, or send power to the grid. EcoFlow said European users cut annual electricity bills by as much as 77.8 percent.
