Reigning champion Quezon Tangerines and runner-up Biñan Tatak Gel Arellano Lady Chiefs extended their respective streaks to stay within striking distance of leader Dasmariñas Monarchs while Negros joined the Final Four race in the 2025 Maharlika Pilipinas Volleyball Association on Wednesday night at the Marikina Sports Center.

Quezon swept the Caloocan AM Spikers, 25-22, 25-13, 25-13, for its 10th straight win at 10-1 while Biñan also made short work of the San Juan Lady Knights, 25-18, 25-11, 25-19, for a 6-3 record.

The two squads figured in the finals last season but Dasmarinas, a new squad backed by the three-time University Athletic Association of the Philippines and Shakey’s Super League champion National University, rises as the undisputed team to beat with a perfect 10-0.
