The Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (NEPPO) is now on full alert as part of its operational readiness for Super Typhoon Uwan, as of 5:40 p.m. on 9 November 2025.
NEPPO Provincial Director Police Col. Heryl Daguit said the NEPPO Provincial Staff convened an urgent Zoom briefing with all Chiefs of Police and Force Commanders across the province.
Daguit said all COPs and FCs were directed to immediately cascade the directives to their personnel. He emphasized heightened alertness, proactive measures, and close coordination with local government and disaster response councils to safeguard lives and property in their respective areas of responsibility.
Daguit also underscored the need for strict monitoring of weather updates, prepositioning of resources, readiness of quick response teams, and continuous coordination with LGUs.
"Now is the time to act with unity and purpose. Let’s be the first responders our people can depend on," Daguit stated.
