Rustan’s hosted an exclusive sneak peek of the Philippine Wine Merchants’ 22nd Grand Wine Experience, happening this 14 November. The intimate preview offered guests and enthusiasts a taste of what’s to come — a grand celebration bringing together the world’s finest wines, spirits and champagnes under one roof.
Norie Wang, vice president for Retail Operations for Philippine Wine Merchants, promises a spectacular time for guests of the 22nd Grand Wine Experience, Southeast Asia’s biggest and most prestigious wine and spirits gathering.
The much-awaited event returns on Friday, 14 November, at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, Marriott Manila, Newport World Resorts.
“Every year we try to make it spectacular, year on year. In fact, this should have been our 25th year, our silver, but because of the pandemic, we paused for three years, so we are on the 22nd. This time, we made sure the food is better than ever, and the wines you will be tasting, because it is ‘time traveling,’ we have some back vintages,” she told DAILY TRIBUNE in a preview event held at Rustan’s Makati.
This year’s theme, “Time Travel,” celebrates wine as the most elegant vessel of memory and legacy. Every bottle is a portal into its vintage year, capturing the terroir, the craftsmanship and the spirit of its time. With each sip, guests are transported to summers long gone, harvests celebrated and traditions that continue to inspire.
The 22nd Grand Wine Experience will feature over 1,000 wines, spirits and brews from the world’s most iconic regions including rare vintages and celebrated labels that connoisseurs, collectors and curious palates alike will not want to miss. More than just a tasting, it is a luxurious celebration of heritage, discovery and connection curated for VVIPs, high-net-worth individuals, F&B trade partners and lifestyle tastemakers.
Guests are invited to step into history, savor the present and toast to the future — all in a single glass.
Gates open at 5 p.m. with tickets at P9,500. For information, visit www.grandwineexperience.com.
