The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) arrested four individuals listed as among Metro Manila’s most wanted during heightened security operations for All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.
At 3:45 p.m. on 31 October, police operatives captured a 20-year-old male suspect in Mandaluyong City, tagged as Top 5 regional level, wanted for multiple counts of rape by sexual assault and acts of lasciviousness.
On 1 November at 12:30 p.m., a 24-year-old male identified as Top 7 most wanted was arrested in Barangay Sipac-Almacen, Navotas City, by virtue of a warrant for rape, with no bail recommended.
That same evening, at 9:30 p.m., authorities nabbed a 29-year-old suspect, Top 8 regional level, in Vertis North, Quezon City, for rape and physical violence under Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004. One warrant carried no bail, while another imposed a P2,000 bail. Police confiscated his personal belongings and a mobile phone for digital evidence examination.
The last arrest took place on 2 November at 6:15 a.m., also in Barangay Sipac-Almacen, Navotas City, where a 22-year-old suspect, listed as Top 6 regional and district level, was apprehended for rape, likewise with no bail recommended.
NCRPO officials said the arrests reflect the region’s intensified anti-crime drive during the Undas season, ensuring peace and order while pursuing justice for victims.
