The Designers’ Holiday Bazaar (DHB), the country’s pioneering nonprofit shopping event, is set to return for its 12th year, celebrating Filipino creativity through fashion, food, home, and wellness.
Presented by GCash and Globe, DHB will run from 29 November to 7 December 2025, transforming Greenbelt 5 and Glorietta in Makati into hubs of artistry and purpose. The event is curated by Beatriz Zobel Jr. and Sofia Zobel Elizalde, who founded the bazaar to promote local craftsmanship and fund educational initiatives.
DHB in Greenbelt 5 will be located at The Gallery & Amphitheatre, featuring fashion, accessories, crafts, and wellness goods. Meanwhile, Glorietta’s Main and Palm Drive Activity Centers will highlight artisanal food, local delicacies, and holiday gift baskets.
The bazaar benefits Ayala Foundation Inc. (AFI) and the STEPS Foundation, supporting scholars and young dancers.
“We always believed that passion can take many local talents to great heights when given the right support,” said Sofia Zobel Elizalde, DHB co-founder and curator. “More than a marketplace, the Designers' Holiday Bazaar is a platform that makes dreams come true, potentials realized, and goals achieved. Every patron gets to be a part of this mission. It’s a collective effort that inevitably makes Christmas shopping more meaningful.”
Through the AFI x DHB Scholarship, 25 students have been able to complete their studies, with three now college graduates working in education, business, and healthcare. Meanwhile, STEPS Foundation scholars have performed with Ballet Manila, Alice Reyes Dance Philippines, Alberta Ballet, and the American Ballet Theater.
Showcasing Filipino creativity
This year’s DHB features five main categories: Fashion & Accessories, Holiday Decor, Local Flavors, Home & Lifestyle Finds, and Wellness & Beauty Goods.
Among the featured brands are PIOPIO, R. Filart, KitSilver Jewelry, and J. Makitalo under fashion and accessories; while Alriver, Mallows Collection, and Natureline Enterprise present festive décor and ornaments. Artisanal food brands such as Heny Sison Desserterie, Flour Pot, and Auro Chocolate Café join the lineup, alongside Tsaa Laya and Sonya’s Secret Garden.
For home and lifestyle finds, shoppers can expect curated pieces from T’nalak, Osmundo Furniture Gallery, and E. Murio Manila, while the wellness section includes handcrafted products from Cathy + Bee’s, Lumi Candles Philippines, Esscentials Manila, and For Keeps Clean Beauty.
“We are always on a mission to give back to the Filipino community, and one of the ways we are able to achieve this year after year is the Designers' Holiday Bazaar,” said Bea Zobel Jr. “Families take home beautifully crafted products from different regions of the Philippines, while artisans gain greater visibility and scholars receive vital support. It’s quite inspiring, even for us, and it moves us to do better and aim higher every time.”
Art, music, and advocacy
Adding rhythm to the holiday shopping experience, DHB will host live performances throughout the event. Acts include Project 201 Jazz Quartet, Maki Ricafort’s Trio, Steps Dance Project, Tuloy Foundation Choir, and the Mandaluyong Children’s Choir, alongside saxophonists Michael Guevarra and Mr. Pterlhen, guitarist Mr. Chai, and DJ Cocoy Puyat.
Partners in purpose
GCash and Globe, the event’s main partners, will enhance the consumer experience through digital innovations. GCash for Business will launch PocketPay and SoundPay, payment solutions designed to help MSMEs transition to cashless operations. Globe will also host exclusive activities at its Glorietta lounge, offering perks to Globe Platinum customers.
“The TPS empowers our MSMEs and industries to innovate with purpose, produce with pride, and compete globally with confidence,” Roque said. “We thank the President for his swift approval of this landmark policy that will boost our economy and generate more jobs for Filipinos.”
The Designers’ Holiday Bazaar continues to blend artistry with purpose—turning every purchase into an act of empowerment for Filipino artisans and students alike.
