The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) and Pag-IBIG Fund will open the second National Housing Expo 2026 on Monday at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, bringing together more than 80 developers offering 50,000 housing units.

The two-day event is part of the 2026 National Shelter Month celebration, themed “Tahanan. Pamayanan. Kinabukasan.”

DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling said the expo aims to widen access to decent, safe and affordable housing by bringing prospective homebuyers, developers and housing financing services together in one venue.

“The expo will serve as a housing one-stop shop where prospective buyers can choose from available units and immediately seek an assessment from Pag-IBIG once they have made their choice. This is in line with President BBM’s directive to bring housing services closer to our countrymen,” Aliling said.

Visitors can explore housing projects and seek on-site assistance from Pag-IBIG Fund to assess their eligibility for housing loans and determine their borrowing capacity.

The expo supports the government’s Expanded 4PH Program, which seeks to broaden homeownership opportunities for Filipino families.

“Owning a home is an important step toward a more dignified and secure life. Through the housing expo, we bring every Filipino family closer to this opportunity,” Aliling said.

Admission is free. The expo will run on 19 and 20 October at Halls 2 to 4, ground floor, SMX Convention Center Manila, MOA Complex, Pasay City.
