EastWest Bank, in partnership with Visa, has launched BizAccess Visa Debit, a new banking solution aimed at helping small and medium enterprises (SMEs) manage their business finances more efficiently.
At a press event in Makati on 28 October 2025, EastWest said the BizAccess package includes a checking account and digital tools that allow entrepreneurs to separate business from personal funds, track transactions in real time, and streamline day-to-day operations.
The BizAccess Visa Debit Card enables secure and convenient payments for purchases, supplier transactions, and other business expenses. Entrepreneurs can also issue up to ten cards to staff, allowing centralized expense monitoring under one account.
“SMEs are the backbone of the Philippine economy, and we’re proud to give them the tools they need to thrive,” said Jerry Ngo, EastWest Chief Executive Officer. “BizAccess goes beyond being a debit card. It’s a business partner that helps entrepreneurs manage finances easily, securely, and confidently, so they can focus on what matters most: growing their business.”
BizAccess account holders can access EasyBiz Online Business Banking, a platform for viewing balances, paying suppliers, managing cash flow, and handling government payments via eGov. The card comes with travel accident insurance, transaction notifications, and exclusive Visa rewards and promos, with waived over-the-counter fees for deposits and withdrawals as part of its introductory offer.
“Visa is delighted to partner with EastWest in empowering Filipino entrepreneurs,” said Sid Bada, Visa Philippines Head of Clients. “With BizAccess, SMEs gain access to trusted and convenient payment solutions that simplify how they operate while also opening opportunities to participate in Visa’s global network of offers and rewards designed to help businesses grow.”
SME owners can apply for the BizAccess Visa Debit Card and accompanying BizAccess Checking Account at any EastWest Store nationwide or through EasyBiz Online, where account setup and activation can be completed digitally.
