East West Banking Corporation and Tesla Philippines will hold another private event for selected bank clients on 10 August.
The event follows the companies’ first client gathering at Tesla Center Manila in May. It will give EastWest customers another chance to view Tesla’s electric vehicles and check the financing and purchase terms available to attendees.
EastWest will extend auto loan rates as low as a 22.22-percent add-on rate for a 60-month term. Tesla will also provide event-only discounts on its vehicles and accessories.
Jason Atienza, EastWest head of secured lending, said the partnership allows the bank to connect clients with new vehicle choices and financing that can support their plans.
During the May event, EastWest clients and other car enthusiasts took test drives and joined vehicle walk-throughs. Tesla also presented the Model 3, Model Y and Model Y L, which gave visitors a closer look at the company’s local electric vehicle range.
The bank said the second event will continue the arrangement as more Filipino buyers consider electric vehicles. Apart from seeing the cars in person, attendees can discuss available loan packages and the costs involved in Tesla ownership.
EastWest is a member of the Filinvest Group and provides consumer and commercial banking services in the Philippines. Its work with Tesla places its auto financing services directly alongside the vehicles that clients may be considering.
