Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon installed Lara Inguito-Esquibil as the agency’s officer-in-charge undersecretary for Convergence Projects and Technical Services on Monday.
“She [Esquibil] has my full trust and confidence,” Dizon expressed during the flag-raising ceremony of the agency.
"If you are honest, if you are hardworking, if you want to do nothing but serve our countrymen and give them quality projects, then she is a perfect fit cause she is the current head of the Bureau of Design.”
Aside from leading the agency’s Bureau of Design, the 36-year-old was also part of the first batch of the Cadet Engineering Program.
Dizon described Esquibil as “young, dynamic and professional.”
Esquibil replaces Arrey Perez, who resigned from the DPWH due to alleged contact with contractors, as per Batangas 1st District Representative Leandro Leviste.
