CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — In separate operations on Thursday, 16 October, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) apprehended two Regional Most Wanted Persons in Central Luzon, one in Laguna and another in Bataan.
In Santa Rosa City, Laguna, operatives from the CIDG Tarlac Provincial Field Unit (PFU), in coordination with local police and regional intelligence units, arrested 'Jaybee,' 22, wanted for multiple counts of robbery. The arrest occurred around 12:10 p.m. in Barangay Sinalhan.
Meanwhile, in Limay, Bataan, the CIDG Bataan PFU, in collaboration with the Limay Municipal Police Station and RIU3 Bataan Provincial Intelligence Team, apprehended 'Judy,' 35, at around 03:00 p.m. in Barangay Saint Francis II. "Judy" is wanted for qualified rape of a minor, with no bail recommended.
Police Colonel Grant A. Gollod, Chief of CIDG Regional Field Unit 3, highlighted the positive impact of these arrests on community safety.
"These operations demonstrate our commitment to creating safer communities for all," he stressed, emphasizing that the CIDG will continue to prioritize the apprehension of wanted individuals.
The CIDG highlighted that these operations are part of the Philippine National Police's (PNP) ongoing efforts to apprehend fugitives and maintain peace and order throughout the region.
