Marco Polo Ortigas Manila is turning the Ortigas skyline pink this October as it celebrates Pinktober 2025, continuing its heartfelt advocacy for breast cancer awareness in partnership with Cardinal Santos Medical Center.
Through its annual Pinktober campaign, the hotel invites guests to “raise a cup for a cause,” transforming each sip of its specially crafted drink into a symbol of hope and support for breast cancer patients.
The highlight of this year’s campaign is The Silken Bloom, a luscious pink beverage available all month at Café Pronto, Cucina, Lung Hin, and Connect Lounge. The drink combines bold espresso with velvety milk, topped with pink meringue, toasted mallows, and a touch of cinnamon, finishing with a kiss of hazelnut sweetness.
More than a luxurious treat, 10 percent of each order of The Silken Bloom will be donated to the Cardinal Medical Charities Foundation, Inc., which provides assistance to underprivileged breast cancer patients.
“Pinktober is a reminder that awareness and early action can save lives,” said Fredrik Johansson, General Manager of Marco Polo Ortigas Manila. “By coming together over something as simple as a cup of coffee, we help build support for those facing breast cancer and amplify the message of early detection.”
Raul C. Pagdanganan, President and CEO of Cardinal Santos Medical Center, added, “Through Pinktober, we are able to channel generosity directly into treatment and care. Every contribution makes a difference in ensuring patients receive the quality care they deserve.”
The Pinktober 2025 campaign runs until 31 October 2025. Guests can also visit the Marco Polo Ortigas Manila pop-up booth at the patient’s lounge of Cardinal Santos Medical Center from 1-12 and 26-30 October 2025 (except Sundays) to enjoy a meaningful cup of The Silken Bloom, best paired with the hotel’s freshly baked pastries.
