The National Police Commission (Napolcom) and Isla LPG Corporation have officially partnered to launch the “Solane Blue Flame Scholarship,” a new program providing educational opportunities for the dependents of Napolcom and Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel.
The Memorandum of Agreement was signed at the Napolcom Central Office by Napolcom vice chairperson and executive officer Commissioner Rafael Vicente R. Calinisan and Isla LPG Corporation chief operating officer Jose Antonio Castillo.
Calinisan said the collaboration highlights Napolcom’s proactive efforts to build partnerships with the private sector to uplift the lives of PNP and Napolcom families. He stressed that the initiative champions education as a key to empowerment and is a continuing recognition of the police force’s sacrifices.
“What Isla Group has done is about giving chances to people who need them the most,” Calinisan said, adding that the partnership is a meaningful step allowing police families to pursue their dreams.
