The public will soon play a direct role in tracking government transportation projects under a new digital monitoring system launched by the Department of Transportation (DoTr) and the Department of Budget and Management.
The new initiative, called Digital Information for Monitoring and Evaluation, will use citizen feedback alongside technology like satellites, drones, and geotagging to monitor and evaluate major infrastructure projects, the DoTr announced Thursday.
