All the Korean touches at Shaira Diaz and EA Guzman’s wedding

Shaira Diaz and Edgar Allan Guzman’s nuptials was more than a simple celebrity wedding; it felt like the final episode of a Korean drama. 

Theirs was pure main-character energy, complete with slow-motion aisle walks and teary-eyed close-ups that cue heartwarming OSTs.

From their swoon-worthy pre-wedding photos to the tear-streaked "I dos," every moment was wrapped in Korean-inspired elegance, sincerity and that cinematic magic we typically only binge-watch at 2 a.m.

Prenup in South Korea

Shaira and EA's prenuptial shoot on Nami Island, Chuncheon, South Korea, was captured by Nice Print Photography. It featured cozy coats, cherry blossoms, and romantic strolls under tree-lined paths. Shaira even captioned one post, "Straight out of a K-drama," and fans couldn't agree more.

Korean Couture by Choi Jae Hoon

Choi Jae Hoon, a South Korean fashion designer known for his ethereal bridal shapes, created Shaira's show-stopping wedding gown. The gown had a strapless straight neckline, embellished bodice, and voluminous skirt, combined with a translucent veil and cascading white orchids. 

During her initial fitting in Seoul, Shaira became emotional and said: “Tears fell the moment I tried the dress on.” She even flew back to Korea herself to personally pick up the gown, fearing shipping delays. “Gusto ko nang sunduin sa Korea kaysa i-ship,” she joked.

K-Beauty meets bridal glow

Shaira described her wedding look as “Korean dreamy” — clean, fresh, and glowing.

“Gusto ko very pure lang ’yung itsura natin ( I want my look to be very pure),” she told Unang Hirit hosts hours before the ceremony.

Styled by Cath Sobrevega, her look was soft glam perfection, echoing the minimalist elegance of Korean bridal aesthetics.

Held at St. Benedict Church in Silang, Cavite, the wedding was attended by a the couple’s fellow stars and close friends.

Bridesmaids include Julia Montes, Jennylyn Mercado, and Arra San Agustin. 

EA wore a suit by Francis Libiran, perfectly complementing Shaira’s Korean gown. 

Shaira shares that she wrote her vows until 2 a.m., saying, “Grabe ang pressure.”
