Two suspected drug pushers were apprehended in a buy-bust operation in Binangonan, Rizal on Tuesday afternoon.

The arrested suspects were identified only by the alias Kim and alias Mala–both newly identified high-value drug pushers.

Anti-narcotics operatives of the Binangonan Municipal Police Station's Drug Enforcement Team arrested them at the Margarito Compound, Barangay Darangan, in this town, at about 3:30 p.m.

Seized from the suspects were four pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately 35.30 grams, with a standard drug price of P240,040; a black coin purse; five pieces one hundred peso bills recovered money; P500 buy-bust money; a black Infinix cellular phone; and red Suzuki Burgman motorcycle.

The arrested suspects are currently detained at Binangonan Municipal Police Station custodial facility, while facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
