Ayala Healthcare Holdings, Inc. (AC Health) has entered into a strategic alliance with Glorious Dexa Mandaya Philippines, a subsidiary of Indonesia’s Dexa Group, to expand access to affordable and high-quality medicines in the country.
The company said on Friday that the partnership will distribute Dexa Group’s products through AC Health’s network of over 800 Generika and St. Joseph Drug stores, more than 220 clinics, six Healthway Medical Network hospitals, and its importation and distribution arm, IE Medica.
“Dexa Group brings deep pharmaceutical expertise and a science-driven approach that complements AC Health’s expanding network of retail, provider, and specialty care assets," AC Health president and CEO Paolo Borromeo said.
"Together, we aim to serve more communities and deliver better value and outcomes for patients,” he added.
The alliance, Dexa’s first formal strategic collaboration in the Philippine market, will also create a joint project committee to pursue long-term synergies in distribution, wholesale, and healthcare innovation nationwide.
Dexa Group, one of Indonesia’s largest pharmaceutical companies, is known for its manufacturing capabilities, research and development, and evidence-based products across generics, oncology, and herbal medicine.
It also develops clinically validated nutraceuticals and phytomedicines with global export potential.
