An Indian family was robbed and their valuables were stolen by unidentified suspects in Cainta, Rizal on Tuesday afternoon.
The robbery incident took place around 3:05 p.m. inside the house of the victims located at Block 1 Lot 17, Ipil Street, Dacon Homes, Barangay Sto. Domingo, in this town.
Investigation revealed that the victims were inside their house when the suspects suddenly entered and declared hold-up at gunpoint.
The victims were identified as Lambeer Sing, 42; Kurmjit Karr Gill, 42; Jaspreet Singh, 30; and alias “Faith," 10.
The suspects carted away the vault containing P200,000, assorted jewelries worth more or less P1 million, iPhone 16 cellphone worth P90,000, iPhone 11 cellphone worth P11,000, Samsung cellphone worth P11,000, Samsung iPad worth P11,000, five wrist watches worth P90,000, and passports.
The suspects fled toward Felix Avenue on board a black Ford Territory SUV with plate number NBG 9800.
Cainta police are now conducting a follow-up operation for possible arrest of the suspects and recovery of the stolen items.
