The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) apprehended two of its top 10 most wanted persons for August during back-to-back operations in Las Piñas and San Juan City.
On 2 August, around 10 AM, operatives from the warrant and subpoena section of the Las Piñas City Police Station arrested the number 8 most wanted person at the regional level in Barangay Zapote, Las Piñas City.
The accused is facing two counts of acts of lasciviousness and sexual abuse, with an arrest warrant issued by the Las Piñas Family Court Branch 2. Bail has been set at P400,000 for the acts of lasciviousness charges and P200,000 for sexual abuse.
The suspect is currently detained at the station custodial facility, awaiting the issuance of a commitment order by the court.
Two days later, on 4 August, at around 10 AM, personnel from the warrant and subpoena section and the station intelligence branch of the San Juan City Police Station arrested the number 4 most wanted person at the regional level in Barangay Kabayanan, San Juan City.
The accused was wanted for statutory rape, with a warrant issued by the Pasig City Regional Trial Court Branch 162. No bail has been recommended.
