A week after the Coldplay kiss cam scandal, Astronomer has hired the frontman’s ex, Gwyneth Paltrow, as its “temporary spokesperson.”
"I've been hired on a very temporary basis to speak on behalf of the 300-plus employees at Astronomer,” Paltrow said in a video released by the company. “Astronomer has gotten a lot of questions over the last few days and they wanted me to answer the most common ones."
However, instead of talking about the Byron-Cabot issue, the actress started discussing about data operations.
"We've been thrilled so many people have a newfound interest in data workflow automation," Paltrow added.
The Marvel actress promoted the company’s Beyond Analytics event in September, answered some more queries before ending it with, "We will now be returning to what we do best — delivering game-changing results for our customers. Thank you for your interest in Astronomer."
Astronomer ex-CEO Andy Byron and Astronomer ex-CPO Kristin Cabot, who were seen embracing at the Coldplay concert sparking affair rumors, have resigned from their posts.
