Real estate stakeholders in the country will personally know the plans of the newly appointed Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling on the housing industry, at the upcoming National Real Estate Association (NREA) Mid-Year General Membership Assembly this 29 July at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) Conference Center in Makati City.

NREA Board chairperson Imelda Magtoto said the event is a must-attend for all real estate professionals, offering invaluable insights into the latest industry developments and an exclusive opportunity for professional growth and networking.

Apart from Aliling, Department of Finance Secretary Ralph Recto; Bureau of Internal Revenue Commissioner Romeo Lumagui, Jr., and Pag-IBIG Fund senior vice president Fermin Sta. Teresa are included in the roster of speakers.

“This assembly is a vital platform for our members and friends to stay abreast of the dynamic real estate landscape. Attendees will gain direct access to policy-makers and industry leaders, offering unique perspectives on the current economic trends and their impact on real estate,” she said.

A key highlight of the assembly will be the induction of newly-accredited real estate salespersons.

Following the induction ceremonies, chairperson Ofelia Binag of the Professional Regulatory Board for Real Estate Service will provide an essential update on the latest policies, practices and procedures governing real estate service.

This segment is particularly beneficial for new salespersons seeking to navigate the regulatory environment effectively.

In addition to these critical updates, NREA president, Atty. Amador Z. Tolentino, Jr., will unveil the NREA e-Library, a groundbreaking digital resource designed to empower real estate professionals and the public alike.

“The NREA e-Library will provide convenient access to a wealth of industry-related materials, research, and publications,” explained Atty. Tolentino. “In light of changing worldwide economic trends and disruptions, this mid-year event, coupled with the launch of our e-Library, comes at a timely moment to equip our members with the knowledge they need to thrive.”

Participants may also connect with the group of real estate professionals, expanding their network and fostering potential collaborations.

The event is supported by National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation, Pag-IBIG Fund, Primehomes Real Estate Development, Inc., Phinma Property Holdings Corp., Hausland Development Corp., Fiesta Communities, Duraville Realty & Development Corp.; PHirst Park Homes Inc., Davies Paint Philippines, Inc., SM Development Corporation, OFW Partylist, Philippine Guarantee Corporation, A.
