The number of reported deaths from the combined effects of Severe Tropical Storm "Crising" and the enhanced southwest monsoon or "habagat" has risen to six as of Tuesday, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).
Of the six fatalities, two have been confirmed, while four are still being verified, based on the latest situation report from the NDRRMC.
Additionally, five individuals were reported injured, and six remain missing.
A total of 362,465 families, or 1,266,322 individuals, have been affected by the ongoing weather disturbances. Of this number, 4,991 families—or 17,116 individuals—are currently being served in 277 evacuation centers.
Meanwhile, 173 road sections and 11 bridges were affected by flooding and landslides.
Estimated damage to infrastructure has reached ₱413 million, while agricultural losses are pegged at ₱54 million.
