Strong Group Athletics (SGA) import Andre Roberson was crowned the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 44th William Jones Cup after clinching back-to-back titles last Sunday at the Xinzhuang Gymnasium in New Taipei City.
Roberson, a former Oklahoma City Thunder player, averaged 12.3 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in seven games as the Frank Lao-backed squad became the first Filipino team to defend the championship.
SGA also won 16 straight games since joining last year's Jones Cup.
The 33-year-old forward's best game for SGA was against Bahrain last Satuday where he dropped 25 points and 14 rebounds en route to a title-clinching 92-68 victory.
Joining Roberson in the Mythical 5 are SGA teammate Tajuan Agee and Chinese Taipei-A players Adam Hinton, Robert Hinton, and Ying Chun Chen.
