At least two suspected drug pushers were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in Navotas and Valenzuela City early Saturday morning.
In Navotas City, a high-value individual was arrested by operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Navotas PNP.
The suspect was identified as “Clarence,” a 22-year-old male.
Operatives recovered suspected shabu weighing approximately 100.1 grams, with an estimated standard drug price of P680,680.
The recovered illegal drugs were placed in three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets.
The Northern Police District added that Clarence is also on the drug watchlist of Barangay NBBS Proper.
Meanwhile, in Valenzuela City, another suspected drug pusher was arrested after police poseur-buyers successfully purchased suspected shabu.
The suspect was identified as “Onin,” a 37-year-old male.
After recovering one heat-sealed plastic sachet containing suspected illegal drugs, five more sachets were seized during a subsequent frisking.
An estimated total of 30 grams of suspected shabu, with a street value of P204,000, were recovered from the suspect.
Both suspects will face charges for violating Sections 5 (Sale) and 11 (Possession) of Article 2 of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
