MANILA, Philippines — Heart Mate Canola Oil, the country’s leading canola oil brand, has introduced a fresh new look to mark its 25th anniversary, unveiling a redesigned bottle that combines elegance, functionality, and brand symbolism — without compromising the quality trusted by generations of Filipino households.
The redesigned packaging, crafted by a French designer, brings a sleek, compact silhouette tailored for Filipino kitchens. Its ergonomic shape offers easier grip and space-saving convenience while incorporating visual elements that highlight the brand’s identity.
“This isn’t just about design. As Heart Mate celebrates 25 years, it strengthens its promise and commitment to helping Filipinos cook heart-healthy meals every day — in ways that are simple, accessible, and part of every home,” the brand said in a statement.
Anchoring the redesign is a new symbol that integrates the letter “H,” a heart, and a canola flower petal — a nod to Heart Mate’s natural origins and its mission to promote heart wellness. The bottle is also adorned with embossed heart-shaped petals on all sides, creating a tactile experience and a distinct presence on store shelves.
The updated logo puts “Heart Mate” front and center, with a bolder, cleaner appearance that reinforces brand recognition and proudly displays its 100 percent pure canola oil certification.
“We weren’t just after a prettier bottle. We wanted to rethink how it feels to use Heart Mate in your everyday cooking,” said Abigail Ng-Reyes, Vice President for Marketing at Fly Ace Corporation, the maker of Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil. “We wanted something that consumers would not only trust but also be proud to display in their kitchens.”
Though the packaging has evolved, what’s inside remains unchanged — and for good reason. Heart Mate Canola Oil continues to offer zero cholesterol, is rich in omega-3 and omega-6, and has the lowest saturated fat content among vegetable oils, making it ideal for various cooking methods such as frying, sautéing, baking, or stewing.
The brand’s new look was officially unveiled at a launch event attended by members of the media and lifestyle content creators. The celebration featured a Caldereta Cook-Off, highlighting creativity in the kitchen while emphasizing the health benefits and versatility of canola oil.
The campaign, themed “New Look. Same Love,” is more than just a visual refresh. It’s a reaffirmation of the values that have kept Heart Mate at the top of its category for over a decade.
“For over 10 years, Heart Mate Canola Oil has consistently held the No. 1 spot in the canola oil category in the Philippines — a clear reflection of its quality, heart-health benefits, and the trust it continues to earn from Filipino families,” the company said.
With a refreshed identity and continued focus on health and functionality, Heart Mate Canola Oil remains a staple in Filipino kitchens — now in a bottle that’s as thoughtful as the meals it helps prepare.
Still the oil you trust. Now in a bottle that looks — and feels — just right.
