RANI, Bataan — Joint Philippine National Police forces of Bataan and Orani arrested Wednesday morning a private employee for allegedly possessing two illegal guns and bullets in Barangay Paraiso, Orani, Bataan.
Col. Marites A. Salvadora, in his report to B/Gen. Rogelio “Pojie” Peñones, Central Luzon director, said that his men led by Lt. Col. Roland Gallano, head of Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), arrested Ron Louis Tria after implementing Search Warrant No. 06- 2025 (Violation of Section 28, para (a) RA10591) or illegal possession of guns and ammunitions.
“Be informed that joint personnel of Bataan PIU and Orani MPS led by PltCol Roldan Gallano, chief Bataan PIU conducted operation re-implementation of Search Warrant against the above mentioned respondent which resulted in the seized/confiscation of one unit Armscor Tanfoglio Cal.9 mm pistol with serial number AB64003, one magazine and 12 pieces of ammunition for 9 mm and one Smith and Wesson 38 caliber with Serial Number 45488 with two ammunition,” Salvadora reported.
Said operation was conducted by virtue of Search Warrant No. 06-2025 issued by Hon. Judge Philger Noel B. Inovejas, Executive Judge, RTC Branch 93, Balanga City, Bataan dated 8 July 2025.
Body-worn camera was used as recording device during the conduct of operation in compliance to Supreme Court A.M. No. 12-06-08-SC and in the presence of barangay officials, Salvadora said.
The arrested suspect was apprised of his Constitutional rights and is now under the custody of Orani MPS for filing of appropriate case.
