The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) reported Tuesday it recorded the highest number of arrests of wanted persons among all National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) districts between 10 May and 4 July 2025.
QCPD acting chief Col. Randy Glenn Silvio stated that these arrests are part of the district’s ongoing efforts to maintain peace and order.
During the period, QCPD apprehended 597 wanted individuals, including 348 “Other Wanted Persons” and 249 “Most Wanted Persons,” as part of its sustained campaign against crime and manhunt operations.
A key factor in this achievement is “Warrant Day,” a QCPD best practice initiated on 25 April 2025.
Held every Friday, this initiative focuses specifically on locating and arresting individuals with outstanding warrants, which has increased operational efficiency and enhanced the district’s ability to deliver justice.
“Our success reflects the dedication and swift action of all QCPD units,” Silvio said. “We remain firmly committed to providing responsive and effective public service to ensure the safety and security of the people of Quezon City.”
The QCPD encourages the public to support its anti-crime efforts by reporting suspicious individuals or criminal activities through the national emergency hotline 911 or the QC Helpline 122.
