At least four drug personalities were arrested in two separate buy-bust operations conducted in Caloocan City and Malabon City.

In Caloocan City, an estimated 205 grams of suspected shabu, equivalent to at least P1.4 million, were recovered from two suspects, alias “Amo,” 42, and his 19-year-old cohort.

The buy-bust operation took place in Barangay 188 in Tala, Caloocan. Both suspects are residents of Phase 12.

The recovered illegal drugs were placed in two knot-tied plastic sachets weighing at least 100 grams each and a small sachet containing five grams, which was the subject of the sale.

PLT Restie Mables of the Caloocan City Police said that the arrested suspects do not have any previous criminal records.

He added that drug test results showed that the 42-year-old suspect tested positive for illegal drugs.

Last Saturday morning, an anti-drug operation in Malabon City was led by the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Northern Police District, leading to the arrest of two suspected drug pushers.

The suspects were identified as alias ‘Francis’, 41, a resident of Malabon City, and alias ‘RJ’, 20, a resident of Valenzuela City.

The drug sting was carried out along Roque Street in Barangay Tugatog.
Suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 15 grams, equivalent to P102,000, was seized from the suspects.

One unit of Star B. Echeverria .380-caliber pistol was also recovered from Francis, which was loaded with two live rounds.

Both suspects will face charges for violating Sections 11 and 26 of Republic Act No. 9165, while RJ will face an additional charge for violating Republic Act No. 10591, or the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
