Art is a luxury that transcends material value — an avenue for authenticity, connection and deeper reflection. In celebration of its Style and Expression issue, Lifestyle Asia hosted an exclusive launch featuring its June 2025 cover star Bea Elizalde, and unveiled its newest cultural experience: Art After Dark.
The by-invitation-only event brought together a curated gathering of 100 guests — an eclectic mix of young entrepreneurs, artists, collectors and next-generation tastemakers — representing the vibrant Lifestyle Asia community and the evolving landscape of Manila’s cultural and business scene.
“Art has always been the ultimate form of personal expression,” said Kerry Tinga, Chief of Editorial Content at Lifestyle Asia. “It’s about cultivating deeper connections with beauty, creativity and the stories that define us.”
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of Parabellum, an eight-work collection by renowned photographer Artu Nepomuceno. The striking series captured the elegant movements of ballerinas set against the architectural grandeur of the Cultural Center of the Philippines, blending motion and stillness in a tribute to grace and strength.
Enhancing the atmosphere was a soulful live performance by Nicole Tejedor, known as the “Sax Diva,” followed by fresh beats from DJ Uno Lejano, creating an immersive soundscape that paired perfectly with the evening’s artistic tone.
Guests also enjoyed personal touches, taking home customized watercolor portraits by Mariya Studio, a live artist who added an interactive element to the event’s creative spirit.Julian Bernas and Ysabel Jao.
