Contemporary abstract artist and mixed-media visionary David Kaufman celebrated the official launch of his highly anticipated art book, No Boundaries, last 5 September at the Altro Mondo Creative Space in Makati City.
Published by Madrid-based Lariot Collective Gallery, the book serves as a profound testament to Kaufman’s artistic philosophy, which is deeply rooted in raw intuition, tactile experimentation, and an unyielding engagement with unconventional materials. Originally delayed by inclement weather in late August, the rescheduled event brought together art enthusiasts to experience a retrospective look into Kaufman’s dynamic creative evolution — spanning his raw, gritty abstract portraits built from recycled industrial scraps to his boundary-pushing collaborations with masters like Ramon Orlina.
Under the banner of “A Book, A Dream, A Beginning,” the launch not only anchored Kaufman’s prominent standing within the contemporary art scene but also beautifully encapsulated his journey of transforming the organic and overlooked into unforgettable visual narratives.
