THE women behind The Little Vintage Shop: Founders Mel Asuncion, Penny Katigbak, Frannie Manotoc and Annalynn Garcia.
True style breathes through the quiet convergence of heritage and a deeply personal sense of purpose. Last 8 September 2026, the chic, sprawling expanse of Spatio at Opus Mall transformed into an intimate habitué of conscious luxury as The Little Vintage Shop by FilipinaZ officially unveiled its newest, expanded home. Spearheaded by discerning tastemakers Penny Lopez-Katigbak, Frannie Lopez-Manotoc, Annalyn de Silva-Garcia and Mel Mora-Asuncion, the launch beautifully demonstrated that conservation does not require tradition or fashion to remain unchanged. Instead, the curated enclave invited Manila’s style aficionados to engage in a delightful “treasure hunt,” browsing an elevated collection of pre-loved luxury items, vibrantly patterned 1980s Diane Freis silk pieces, and upcycled contemporary garments that seamlessly transition from nostalgic charm into the “new, now, next” of modern wardrobe staples.
In an industry navigating the delicate balance between overconsumption and creative responsibility, this event successfully elevated retail therapy into a profound vehicle for real, collective healing. Beyond the polished silhouettes and immaculate visual merchandising on display, the soul of the evening anchored itself upon a shared commitment to community and philanthropy. With 100 percent of the shop’s proceeds directly benefiting the Marillac Psychological Center to support and empower young, vulnerable girls, the launch proved that fashion functions best when it serves a higher call to action and gives someone’s life a little more hope.
