Star roamer Tristan "Yawi" Cabrera has parted ways with TNC Pro Team after just one season with the squad.

One of the most popular players in the professional Mobile Legends scene, Yawi spearheaded TNC's first Playoffs appearance since MPL PH Season 10.

"Today, we announce the departure of Yawi from our team," TNC Pro Team wrote in a surprise announcement on its official Facebook page.

"A true companion inside and outside of the game. Yawi has been a major part of our success as a team to soar into greater heights. His skills and determination say it all as we achieve every victory that you, Phoenix Army had seen throughout his entire journey with us."

Earlier today, Yawi's former teammate Renejay parted ways with Aurora, fueling community speculations that the latter may be headed to TNC Pro Team to reunite with the former.

Yawi's departure from TNC Pro Team had quickly put a halt to the said speculations, leaving the diehard Mobile Legends fans wondering what is next for both players.

"Yawi, thank you for contributing to the team's success in our recent journey. May you continue to rise high in your next journey. See you around, IDOLO," TNC Pro Team wrote.
