The exhibit Amor et Lucis, Latin for “love and light,” brings together a collection of artists whose works reflect deeply personal searches for clarity, comfort and meaning in an increasingly chaotic world. Each artist, in their own way, channels inner light: A quiet illumination shaped by memory, imagination and the resilience of the human spirit.

The exhibition flows between the fantastical and the introspective. One work plunges us into a surreal nocturnal landscape where mythic creatures and dreamlike beings emerge from moonlit shadows, a scene that blurs the real and the remembered. Elsewhere, delicate, luminous compositions evoke emotional transformation through natural motifs like blooming flowers and flowing water, mirroring the artists’ desire for growth and renewal. Bold, fragmented figures appear in other pieces, caught between realities and searching for form, echoes of longing, questioning and reinvention.

Though their styles range from realism to abstraction, digital to traditional media, the artists share a common thread. Each work becomes a vessel for tenderness, reflection and spiritual clarity. Together, they offer a collective act of stillness, a glowing pause in the rush of modern life.

Artists in the exhibition include Aisha Villabona, BB Suralta, CJ Maglente, Jayvie Maglente, Karl Novis, Lloyd Lusica, Michael Froilan, Remster DB, Rhea Nabayo, Riana Tiolengco and Roberto Martin Sing. Their works remind us that love and light may not always come easily, but they are always worth seeking.
