Dune Awakening off to a stellar start

Dune Awakening is off to a great start following its highly anticipated release.

One of the most promising titles that gamers looked forward to in 2025, Dune Awakening, finally came out last 5 June after postponements to polish the game

Dune Awakening was worth the wait, as Funcom promised. Currently on a “very positive” rating on Steam, the game peaked at 189,000 concurrent players in its opening weekend.

Dune Awakening also reached a milestone by beating Conan Exiles, which peaked at 53,400, making it Funcom’s fastest-selling game of all time.

Dune Awakening’s Season Pass will include the first four downloadable content as the team works on more improvements and major free content.
