Two-time Paris Olympics gold medalist Carlos Yulo clinched a bronze medal in the men's individual all-around of the 12th Senior Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Jecheon, South Korea Thursday evening (Manila time).
Yulo, scored 83.633 points in all six apparatuses as he made it to the podium in his first international competition in 10 months.
Still, the 25-year-old gymnast has a chance to win five more golds in the Asian Championships after making it to the final of the floor exercise, vault, parallel bars, horizontal bar and rings.
Four-time Paris Summer Games gold medalist Shinnosuke Oka of Japan dethroned Yulo as the new individual all-around king in Asia with a total score of 85.134 points.
Another Japanese gymnast in Hasegawa Tsuyoshi got the silver medal with a total score of 83.967 points.
