VinFast is offering incentives of up to US$60,000 per new electric motorcycle dealership in the Philippines and Indonesia as the Vietnamese automaker seeks to expand its sales network in both countries before the end of the year.
The company announced the program on 13 October, with financial assistance available to dealer partners that open new outlets by 31 December 2026.
Each qualifying dealership can receive basic support of up to US$40,000, depending on the size, floor area and compliance of the outlet with VinFast’s dealership standards.
An additional US$5,000 per location is available to dealers that open their outlets by 31 October. Businesses that establish at least three dealerships can also qualify for another US$15,000 per location.
Dealers that meet all the requirements could therefore receive the maximum US$60,000 incentive for each outlet.
The financial assistance comes as VinFast seeks more local business partners to distribute its electric motorcycles in Southeast Asia, particularly in the Philippines and Indonesia.
As of September 2026, the company had a combined 63 electric motorcycle dealerships in the two countries. It plans to increase its network to hundreds of outlets across both markets by the end of December.
Apart from financial incentives, VinFast will provide assistance with business planning, marketing and staff training. Dealer partners will also receive guidance on store design, daily operations and customer service to meet the company’s standards.
The initial motorcycle lineup available to participating dealers includes the Evo, Feliz II and Viper, all of which support battery swapping.
The technology allows riders to exchange depleted batteries for charged units instead of waiting for their motorcycles to recharge. It is one of the features VinFast intends to offer as it develops its electric motorcycle business outside Vietnam.
Dealer partners will also have access to the company’s service and warranty network, along with support for workshops that handle motorcycle maintenance and repairs.
Vo Thi Cam Tu, managing director of VinFast E-Motorcycle Overseas Markets, said the company wants to establish long-term relationships with businesses that can help distribute its motorcycles.
“Expanding our dealer network is an important part of VinFast’s strategy to build an electric motorcycle ecosystem in international markets,” she said.
She added that VinFast would work closely with its partners from the construction of their outlets to daily operations and customer service.
The dealership incentive program is the latest effort by VinFast to increase its presence in the Philippines, where it has already established a network of electric vehicle and motorcycle sales outlets.
The expansion also covers Indonesia, another major motorcycle market in Southeast Asia, where VinFast expects to increase the availability of its electric two-wheelers.
