Honorary Consul Helen Ong hosted a despedida dinner for honorees, Ambassador Laure Beaufils and Neil, UK; Ambassador Michel and Chiemi Parys, Belgium; Ambassador Ilan and Gila Fluss, Israel; Ambassador HK Yu and Fergus, Australia, at her elegant residence.

The memorable occasion was special as it honored May birthday celebrants Aubrey Carlson and Honorary Consul Helen Ong.

Amigas y Amigos were serenaded by the Marcy David Orchestra with an enchanting and captivating repertoire of opera and Broadway songs. Guests were grateful for the honorees’ initiatives, advocacies, projects and support, which they have extended to our country and for their tireless dedication to building stronger relationships with the Philippines. Though our beloved friends will be sorely missed, their gifts of friendship will always be treasured in the hearts of their Amigas y Amigos.
