Anti-narcotics officers from the Eastern Police District (EPD) arrested two 18-year-old women and seized illegal drugs worth an estimated P5.4 million in a buy-bust operation Tuesday evening.
The EPD’s Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the operation at a residence along Esguerra Street in Barangay Pinagbuhatan at around 5:45 p.m., according to a police report.
Authorities identified the two suspects as newly identified high-value individuals.
During the operation, police confiscated 792.44 grams of suspected shabu which were found concealed in seven knot-tied transparent plastic bags and three heat-sealed sachets, all containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu.
Officers also seized a sky-blue eco bag and an orange pouch allegedly used to hide and transport the illegal drugs.
