Nograleses, Dutertes cast Davao votes

DAVAO CITY — Mayoral candidate Karlo Nograles, along with sister Congresswoman bet Atty. Migs Nograles, Vice President Inday Sara Duterte and reelectionist Congressman Paolo Duterte cast their votes on the midterm elections Monday, 12 May at their respective precincts here.

The Nograleses arrived at their precinct in Teodoro Palma Gil Elementary School at 10 a.m.

“I am giving the people of Davao a choice. Its up to them to decide. We already presented our programs during the campaigns,” said Nograles, after casting his vote on a brief talk.

On the other hand, Vice President Sara Duterte also casted her vote at her precinct at Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School.

At a short media briefing, Duterte said that she is optimistic that the DuterTen senatorial bets will be voted by the Filipinos.

“They are one group of potential senators who will push ‘Tunay na Pagbabago’ which was started by former President Rodrigo Duterte,” she said.

She also bared that after the elections, the Office of the Vice President will roll out the “Pagbabago Campaign on Education to 2028 along with the annual Pasasalamat Program of the OVP. She also plans to spend her birthday with her mother and FPRRD at The Hague.

As for the impeachment case, she will leave it up to her lawyers.

Also casting their votes were Congressman Paolo Duterte at the Catalunan Grande National High School and vice mayoral candidate Davao City Councilor Bernie Al-ag at the Bayanihan Integrated School in Matina. Vice mayoral candidate Sebastian Duterte has yet to cast his vote as of presstime.
