Pasig mayoral candidate Sarah Discaya has vowed to build an 11-story university if she wins in the 12 May elections.

“Behind every young Pasigueño is a dream — to finish college, help their family, and break free from poverty,” Discaya said.

“But tuition is often the biggest hurdle. It’s not about a lack of intelligence or determination, but a lack of opportunity.”

For Ate Sarah, saying “education is important” isn’t enough — it has to be real, accessible and life-changing.

“That’s why I’m pushing for a new Pasig University campus along C. Raymundo Avenue,” she shared.

She described the planned university as modern and future-ready, with digital classrooms, labs, innovation hubs, and spaces designed to prepare students for careers close to home.

“A school where Pasigueño students can study, train and land good jobs — without needing to leave the city,” she said.

“It’s been six years and still no plans, no designs, nothing. This project should’ve started long ago, but for Ate Sarah, real action doesn’t take six years. We can make it happen in three — with true care, clear direction, and the courage to use funds properly.”
